1. Protect your skin!
Weather you burn easily or not, you need to protect your skin in the summer, any sunscreen will do really as long as it has a good factor. If you are in to natural tan don't worry, you can still get a tan even with sunscreen on, although keep in mind there is never such a thing as a healthy natural tan, it would probably be best to fake it (just make sure you don't look like a satsuma)
2. Make up at the beach
For those of you that would never want to go to the beach without any make up on listen up. Instead of going for foundation go for a tinted moisturiser with SPF or a pressed powder (this although would defiantly be second option seeing as it wouldn't have SPF with it to keep your skin safe from the sun) For eyes, lips and cheeks try and stick to thin layers and go for natural hue colours such as, Pink, peach, gold and bronze
3. Vibrant nails:
Seeing as your going to keep you face very natural on most days, let your nails do the screaming, go for more brighter colours such as, purple, pink, green, coral, etc. Any brand will do but I personally like Barry M as they have loads of colours for reasonable prices
4. Pull your hair of your face:
Getting your hair out the way will help you feel much cooler on hot days. Wether you decide a high pony tail, a bun or even just a head band, as long as you get your hair away from your face!
5. Waterproof:
If you want to wear mascara make sure it is waterproof, especially if you are going to the beach or something, that last thing you want is panda eyes!!
6. Wavy Hair
This is one of the most popular looks in summer, its real easy to do too so don't worry if you are not a super amazing hair-styler. So first of wash your hair in the evening before you go to bed, don't dry it just put it into either one or two buns (depends how thick your hair is) then just take them out in the morning and you should have lovely beach waves (to make sure they stay in place scrunch in some wax or something)
7. Sunburn solutions:
So, you went out without sunscreen on (tut tut!!) and now it hurts like hell!! Apply aloe vera extract or lotions containing aloe vera to the sunburnt area. Aloe vera soothes your skin and helps it heal better
8. Water!!
You probably don't think this is a beauty tip but it really is!! The more water you drink the less dehydrated you are therefore you wont feel so fatigue and water also does wonders to your skin!!
9. Exfoliation:
Exfoliation is a must in summer or winter, but it is extra important in the summer because there is much more dirt and oil found on the skin, and it will cause break outs if you don't exfoliate (spots are never in ;P)
10. Cream blush
Cream blush is perfect in the summer because it blends in lovely and looks wonderfully natural, I suggest the Maybelline Dream Touch Blush.
I hope you found this useful
