Dyed hair....again xD

Hey everyone :)

Sorry I haven't done a blog post for a while, I have been quite ill and had a minor operation that affected me quite bad D: anyway..

I've had my hair dyed again, this time its the colour I actually wanted it to be before (went to a different place this time ;) haha). It's like a dark chocolate brown, it does actually look black in the pictures..its not ;). I'll put the pictures at the end of this post :)

I will hopefully do another proper blog post soon, I hope you are all well

July Favourites

Well it's time for July favourites (even though it's August now it isn't that late ;P)
So it's meant to be summer now even though the weather dosn't really say that (actually saying that it's really hot today xD)
So here goes ;D

Make Up

1. Avon Extra Lasting Eyeliner Pen
This eyeliner pen is amazing, it last all day and is much easier to apply than liquid liner. I'm also in love with eyeliner at the moment so, it kinda had to be on here ;)

2. Boots' 17 Presses Powder
Pressed powder is a great alternative to Foundation for summer as it is much lighter and still gives a lovely coverage. If you did want a slightly thicker coverage, try a Tinted Moisturiser (Tinted moisterisers are actually really good for the summer as most of them have sunscreen in too xD)

3. Any mascara xD
I'm not that fussy what it comes to mascara, as long as its black and does its job ;)

Everything else ;)

Sarah Jessica Parker NYC Perfume

I L-O-V-E this perfume. I got it last christmas and kinda forgot about it, but started using it again the beginning of July and well I'm back in love with it again xD Its a floral scent, strawberry based I'd say :)

Boots, Hot Weather Cooling Spray

Well you have probably guessed what this is for...so I'll just say its really does work. I'm not sure if it would ruin make up cos so far I've only used it at night when I get really hot ;)

Simple Kind To Skin Cleansing Wipes

I love all the Simple products so theres no surprise that I love their cleansing wipes! I use them to remove make up and they do a great job! And you don't have to worry about them harming your skin xD

Batiste Dry Shampoo - Blush

I love Batiste's dry shampoos and I absolutely love it in this scent <3 its great when you need to wash your hair but don't have time, don't feel like it etc. I think this will always be in my favourites :')

Right I think thats it :P Let me know what you are loving at the moment xD

Another Haul?!!

Helloooo

So I went shopping today with my mama xD and I got some more lovely things for summer (hopefully the sun will start coming out soon!) and well I'm going to show you now.... :)

New Look:

Khaki cropped trousers £8

I love these, there comfy, practical and look great! They have quite a lot of pockets which come in handy! They would look lovely with a casual vest top and simple canvas shoes :)

Denim crop trousers £9.99

Again I love these! They are a little longer then the ones above, so would probably be better for cooler days (still needs to be warm though ;) ) To be honest I think they would go with pretty much anything (as jeans do!)

High waist 70s style jeans £17.99

These trousers are probably my favourite buy today, the look so lovely, really hippy like! They would look good amazing with a flow-y t-shirt/vest etc (a little like the one I'm about to show you!) and maybe some sandals

Flowery flow-y top £14.99

I adore this <3 It has long selves but is really thin so you won't get that hot in the summer, but I wouldn't recommend wearing it on a boiling afternoon, maybe in the evening! It would look great with the trousers I just showed you :D

Primark

Floral Dress £7 reduced to £2 (bargin!!!)

This dress is lovely!! It looks very straight down in the picture but on it looks much more flow-y. It also has a button detail at the top (three buttons down on the left and three down on the right) I would probably wear it as a day dress so maybe with some flats (possibly wedges) :)

Black and white stripe vest top £2.50

This vest top is lovely and simple, it will go with jeans, skirt shorts etc wether you want a girlie looks or a more sporty look I'm sure it will look great!

Heart print tights £1 (another bargain, gosh I do love Primark <3)

Love these so much <3 they would look best with a more simple outfit rather than a pattern-y outfit xD

Ok so thats all I got today, well I got a present for my friend but I'm not gonna show you that cos she might be reading this ;)

Hope you are all okay

Rachel ❤
p.s please excuse my ugliness in the pictures D:

Hair!! xD

Hello beautiful peeps

Yesterday I had my hair dyed at the hairdressers, so I thought I would show ya!
So I wanted it like a chocolate brown colour but they had run out of that colour so I went for a rich brown which had a slight tint of red in it (not really that noticeable though) however for some reason it decided to go bright orange, like proper orange not ginger orange D: luckily they noticed and put a light brow over. So now it is sort of auburn-y (well medium brown with gingery highlights) I actually really really like it, although it is a little annoying that if I sweep my hair back it looks really quite gingery but I don't my hair up that often anyway

I also go a side fringe that I LOVE!!

I will put some pictures down there ▼

Haul xD

Hi lovelies

So I went shopping on....Thursday and thought I would do a little haul to show you what I got :)

This beautiful crop top was £12.99 and from New Look (It was the generation 915 range xD) Its got a lovely lace detail over a coral jersey style vest. It would look stunning with a high waist skirt or for a more casual look try it with plain jeans :)

This gorgeous dress is from Primark and was only £2 (gotta love a bargain) I think it was actually reduced from £5 but still great value :) It has a lovely floral design which I LOVE!! It elasticated around the waist so it fits around your body perfectly. I would probably wear this with either wedges, flip flops or any flats!

This lovely t-shirt was £12.99 (I think) and from Next petite (but they do it in non-petite if that makes sense :P) again it has a gorgeous floral pattern it also has an elasticated bit around the bottom so its baggy which is great for the summer. I would probably wear this with jeans but for a more formal look try with various skirts :)

I would defiantly recommend all these items :D

Everyday make up routine

Hello lovely people
I'm going to show you my everyday make up routine, what sort of make up I wear most days :) enjoy xD

1. Base: At the moment I have just been using concealer and pressed powder, I sometimes use tinted moisturiser if I want a more full coverage.
Applying concealer Applying pressed powder (looking a little moody Rachel D:)

2. Eye make up: Now as for eye make up I eaither go for green eyeshadow (really nice look in spring/summer) for just eyeliner on my eye lid and then on my water line. I'm going to show you the eyeshadows seeing as it is more summer-y
Eyeshadow I'm useing

2) A: First apply the white shadow from your upper lash line you your brow bone

2) B: Then apply the green shadow on to your eye lid and blend into the crease (my webcam really doesn't do it justice D:)

2) C: Next I'm going to apply mascara:
Thats the eyes done :)

Blush: I am in LOVE with my creme blush, its easy application and looks beautiful!

Lips: To be honest with lipstick/gloss it really depends on my mood to what I wear so I'm just gonna pick a random one xD Simply apply and then dap with a tissue :)

Finished look:

What I used! Concealer, eyeshadows, mascara and lipstick - Avon. Pressed powder - No.7 @ Boots. Creme blush - Maybelline Dream touch blush in Peach

Hope you like this look and let me know if there is anything you want me to do :)

Nautical:
Nautical style would normally included stripes and colours like, red, navy/dark blue and white. However you don't have to stick with stripes you could also try clothing with nautical type prints such as, ships, anchors, ship wheels etc

Vest top - George @ Asda

Floral:
Floral prints are one of my favourite prints in summer, wether its on dresses, skirts or even shoes I LOVE it <3 You can wear florals in the day or in the evening for any occasion, for a girlie look just wear a floral dress and some wedges for a more rock and roll look were a floral dress with a leather jacket and converse or bicker boots (or wear floral t-shirt with jeans)
